Alas, we are in a time era where so many hobby workshops are closing their doors for the final time. This makes it difficult for the avid model train hobbyist. It makes it yet more difficult to purchase the trains and parts when they are needed. It neednt be that way though. Say you have a computer or know someone that does, then you can do all your shopping right from the comfort of your own home. Just simply head to the net and set out searching for what you require or need.

One other way you can recognize a real model train hobbyist is by the way he relates to his collection. He will never ever call it a toy train, it will constantly be a model train. To actually refer to a collectors train set as a toy, is a bit of an insult, and they won\’t be long in telling you.
