The law requires that anyone who drives a car must have car insurance. Purchasing car insurance involves buying a policy from an insurance provider. The premium you pay depends on a number of factors such as age, gender, and the make, model, and year of the car. When you look for an insurance policy that will provide you with appropriate coverage, it is important to understand the types of car insurance policies that are available.

When you buy a 50cc gas scooter you are getting into a vehicle that falls in between the vehicle category and the category classified as mopeds. When it comes to the right for people to operate one of the buggers, there is little common ground between different countries on whether an individual needs to be licensed or not. Some of the countries in the EU will allow you to operate these scooters without a permit or license, but if you live in either France or Italy, you are going to be required to carry the minimum of a car drivers license to operate any “vehicle” up to 125cc. There is quite a big level of legal ambiguity for the definition and classification of scooters.
