Also included in this unit are Am/FM channels and a CD player. The unit is a bit large and does take up two docket spaces in your car, so you might have some rearranging to do. You can also get their new satellite radio for less than $1000, that puts has 5 volt preamps, or four 50 watt outputs.
Eclipse is also excited to announce one of their hottest lines, Commander, which allows you to control your GPS navigation through voice-control, this system also comes with a CD player and radio.
The software that is included with the Commander gives you the capability of a total also hands-free experience. With voice activation you can operate your cell phone, control your CD player and radio, and all operations of on-board electronics, including opening and closing windows, opening you trunk, and setting alarm.
By integrating the Eclipse Commander module with a voice-recognition processing chip, made by Pronounced Technologies, you are guaranteed that the system will respond to different voices, it can interpret different speech patterns or dialects, and it also comes with a spell-check and rejects words that are not vocabulary friendly, and has a high noise robustness feature.
Eclipse Commander Systems start a just under $1000 and you can add a GPS system to your unit for around $200. If your into high tech and hand-free driving this Eclipse car stereo system is worth checking out.
